Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reacting to their unexpected commercial success, Devo delivered a significantly darker, more synth-heavy examination of conservative American culture on 'New Traditionalists'. Replacing the spastic guitar energy of their early work with highly mechanical electronic sequencing, the album remains a fiercely satirical, wonderfully sarcastic, and deeply playful new wave classic.
