Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Denver-based quartet fully embraces a highly theatrical, deeply romantic fusion of Mariachi, Eastern European folk, and gothic indie rock. Nick Urata's sweeping, vibrato-heavy vocals are beautifully framed by accordion, theremin, and lush orchestral strings, creating an immersive, cinematic atmosphere heavily steeped in old-world cabaret aesthetics. It established the band's distinctive sound well before their mainstream breakthrough.
