Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore album from the Swedish octet is a wildly theatrical collision of heavy metal distortion, operatic vocals, and 1920s big-band swing. Featuring prominent brass sections and cellos weaving through galloping guitar riffs, the record fully embraces a dark cabaret aesthetic and campy, horror-show grandiosity. It established the group as one of the most uniquely entertaining, genre-defying acts in modern avant-garde metal.
