'Live in the Heat of the Night' was recorded at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall on Diamond Head's 1991 comeback tour. Long circulated as a video bootleg, it was issued in 2000 at the insistence of manager and producer Steve Guard, after the band's mid-1990s split. The two-disc set pairs an audio CD with the concert video, and includes the unreleased 'Let Me Down Easy' and 'She Comes Down'.
