Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Canadian pianist and vocalist firmly establishes her massive international jazz profile with her second album, 'Only Trust Your Heart'. Working directly with legendary producer Tommy LiPuma, Krall delivers incredibly elegant, swinging interpretations of classic jazz standards, featuring stellar accompaniment from tenor saxophonist Stanley Turrentine. The record beautifully highlights her remarkably sultry, highly controlled vocal delivery and impeccable piano phrasing.
