Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Battle Champions' is the second album by Dianogah, a Chicago trio formed in 1995 whose two-bass lineup, Jay Ryan and Jason Harvey with drummer Kip McCabe, defines its architecture. Recorded and produced by Steve Albini, its instrumental post-rock and math rock constructions work through angular, interlocking bass figures in uncommon time signatures.
