Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his intense tenures with Magma and Surya, violin prodigy Didier Lockwood presents a masterful, multifaceted solo effort with 'New World'. The album seamlessly traverses high-speed electric jazz-rock, profound acoustic ballads, and complex classical arrangements. Accompanied by luminaries like Tony Williams, the record firmly establishes him as the premier modern heir to the European jazz violin tradition.
