Album Notes & Community Reviews

Zachary Cole Smith leads his Brooklyn indie-rock outfit through a sprawling, highly publicized double album heavily documented as his attempt at a sobriety record. The album pairs the band's signature shimmering, motorik dream-pop and intertwining guitars with remarkably dark, confessional lyrics regarding his high-profile struggles with heroin addiction. It acts as an incredibly cohesive, tragically honest musical journal.
