Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live in a single room with a tight circle of collaborators, the debut album from the Los Angeles-based artist is a remarkably raw, intensely passionate fusion of R&B and folk. Driven by his incredibly strained, visceral vocal performances, the project completely dismantles pristine studio pop in favor of a messy, deeply intimate live-band aesthetic. It quickly garnered widespread critical acclaim for its overwhelming emotional honesty.
