Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ditching the elaborate orchestral backings of her television variety show, the popular vocalist pairs intimately with a highly sophisticated jazz pianist. The stripped-down quartet setting allows her remarkably warm, straightforward phrasing to interact intimately with his elegant, blues-tinged piano lines, resulting in a mature, deeply relaxed session.
