Album Notes & Community Reviews

The 'Queen of the Blues' pays tribute to the legendary Empress of the Blues with this brassy, swinging EmArcy session. Rather than imitating her predecessor, the vocalist radically modernizes the vaudeville repertoire with her signature biting diction and jazz phrasing.
