Album Notes & Community Reviews

Paying tribute to one of the most charismatic composers of the swing era, the powerhouse vocalist delivers a brilliantly swinging, slightly humorous set of classic tunes. Ernie Wilkins provides robust, brassy big band orchestrations that perfectly match her razor-sharp diction and commanding rhythmic agility. The album is a joyous, impeccably executed intersection of two major jazz personalities.
