Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed from the ashes of Alaska y los Pegamoides, this project became a central pillar of the Movida Madrile帽a. 'Canciones profanas' balances dark, post-punk undertones with highly danceable, synthesized new wave pop, highlighted by Alaska's deeply charismatic vocal presence. The record was hugely influential in defining the era's flamboyant Spanish pop scene.
