Album Notes & Community Reviews

'You're Living All Over Me' refines Dinosaur Jr.'s signature sound, combining J Mascis's drawling, melodic vocals and intricate, high-volume guitar solos over a powerful rhythm section. The album's production merges a lo-fi aesthetic with a uniquely overwhelming sonic presence, creating a blueprint for '90s alternative rock while directly influencing genres from grunge to shoegaze. Songwriting contributions from bassist Lou Barlow, particularly the fragmented and experimental 'Poledo', add a contrasting dynamic to Mascis's dominant noise-pop compositions.
