Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to reverse a period of commercial and critical decline, Ronnie James Dio returned to a highly conceptual, fantasy-driven heavy metal aesthetic. 'Magica' is an ambitious, narrative-heavy album featuring the return of guitarist Craig Goldy, characterized by mid-tempo, doom-laden riffs and extensive spoken-word storytelling.
