Album Notes & Community Reviews

Leaning heavily into a highly polished, commercially accessible hard rock sound, 'Sacred Heart' is a defining monument of mid-80s arena metal. Ronnie James Dio's legendary, theatrical vocals soar over highly melodic, synthesized guitar riffs, delivering intensely passionate, fantasy-themed anthems of rebellion and triumph. The album is an uplifting, energetic, and highly dramatic spectacle that captured the band at the height of their mainstream fame.
