Album Notes & Community Reviews

A pivotal release in the early French-Canadian rock scene, 'Le grand jeu' highlights Dionysos pushing beyond standard blues tropes into ambitious heavy psych and progressive rock. The Quebecois band utilized aggressive guitar work and complex, surreal lyricism sung entirely in French. It remains an important cultural and musical milestone for the region's burgeoning underground movement.
