Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by X Japan's Yoshiki, 'Gauze' served as the highly theatrical major-label debut for the immensely popular visual kei band Dir en Grey[cite: 1]. The remarkably eclectic tracklist established their signature willingness to rapidly shift between driving alternative rock, complex progressive structures, and surreal, melodic ballads[cite: 1].
