Album Notes & Community Reviews

Dire Straits streamlined their blues-rock sound on 'Making Movies', embracing lush keyboard arrangements and a driving, incredibly melodic heartland rock sensibility. Anchored by the epic, profoundly romantic anthem 'Romeo and Juliet', the album is a sweeping, highly passionate, and bittersweet cinematic triumph that cemented Mark Knopfler's storytelling prowess.
