Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recognized as an absolutely punishing landmark in the extreme underground, 'She Lay Gutted' is a defining text of modern brutal death metal[cite: 1]. The Californian outfit relies on impossibly guttural vocals, relentless blast beats, and highly technical, rhythmic slam riffs to achieve an incredibly dense, hateful sonic extremity[cite: 1].
