Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving five years after their debut, the Norwegian trio delivers a highly idiosyncratic, deeply challenging interpretation of old-school extreme metal. The album deliberately shuns modern studio polish in favor of an organic, remarkably unhinged live-room energy. The compositions are fraught with bizarre tempo changes, angular riffing, and a wildly unorthodox approach to death metal rhythm, firmly establishing them as cult favorites in the avant-garde underground.
