Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish extreme metal stalwarts notably refined their classic, buzzsaw guitar tone by integrating pronounced mid-tempo grooves and highly melodic, classic rock-inspired guitar solos. Matti K盲rki's vicious vocals remain central, but the band heavily leaned into the emerging 'death 'n' roll' style pioneered by Entombed, sacrificing pure speed for massive, remarkably catchy riffs. The highly accessible, remarkably heavy recording successfully expanded their reach within the European metal scene.
