Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking the debut of bassist John Moyer, the Chicago quartet largely discards their earlier nu-metal bounce in favor of traditional, solo-heavy heavy metal. The record highlights David Draiman's staccato rhythmic vocal delivery and Dan Donegan's increasingly complex, layered guitar work, famously featuring a dark reinterpretation of Genesis' 'Land of Confusion'.
