Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a high-profile indie supergroup featuring Britt Daniel of Spoon and Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade, the project successfully merges their distinct songwriting sensibilities. The production relies heavily on driving analog synthesizers and minimal, punchy drum machines, leaning distinctly into a sleek, 1980s new-wave aesthetic. The album trades the jagged rock bombast of their main bands for highly infectious, danceable grooves.
