Album Notes & Community Reviews

Crucially helping to pioneer the abstract instrumental hip hop movement alongside contemporaries like DJ Shadow, French producer DJ Cam delivers a deeply atmospheric masterclass with 'Underground Vibes'. The album seamlessly weaves dusty jazz samples and highly cinematic textures over heavy, downtempo breakbeats. It firmly established a sophisticated, heavily influential template for European trip-hop and chillout music.
