Following up on a deeply sorrowful debut album, the Swedish producer largely abandoned the incredibly lo-fi, blown-out house aesthetics of his early career for significantly cleaner, warmer dancefloor production. The record features driving Italo-disco basslines, highly nostalgic R&B vocal chops, and beautifully pristine synthesizer melodies. It was widely praised as a mature, highly emotional, and highly danceable evolution of his sound.
