Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pivoting entirely away from the rap-heavy features of his recent projects, the legendary turntable pioneer delivers a purely instrumental collection of highly eclectic electronic beats. 'Action Adventure' draws heavily from 1980s synthwave melodies and the erratic rhythms of modern footwork and wonky electronica. Driven by his signature crate-digging approach to sampling, the album remains remarkably quirky and densely rhythmic.
