Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant departure from the sample-heavy approach that defined his early career, Josh Davis embraces original instrumentation, Ableton Live programming, and contemporary electronic trends on his fifth studio album. The record boasts high-profile vocal collaborations with Run the Jewels and Nils Frahm, leaning heavily into atmospheric trap and glitch hop. It represented a conscious effort to look forward rather than rely on the nostalgic aesthetics of his foundational work.
