Album Notes & Community Reviews

This collection documents the final recorded reunion of guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli, captured during sessions in Italy in 1949. Backed by an Italian rhythm section of piano, bass, and drums, the duo revisits signature Hot Club standards and popular songs, placing their legendary interplay within a new sonic context. These recordings represent the last chapter of their historic musical partnership, showcasing their mature chemistry just a few years before Reinhardt's death.
