Album Notes & Community Reviews

'I Met You, My Love' collects nineteen old Russian salon romances in arrangements by Evgeny Stetsyuk, performed with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra and the folk ensemble Style of Five under Constantine Orbelian. It was Hvorostovsky's only commercial recording of the popular romances he had grown up hearing his father sing, music he otherwise reserved for encores in Russia.
