Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stunning exhibition of traditional musicianship, 'Home Again!' solidifies the blind flat-picking master's towering reputation within the folk revival. Featuring invaluable backing from his son Merle on rhythm guitar, the album presents an intimate, flawless survey of old-time string band music, bluegrass, and Appalachian balladry. The unparalleled speed, precision, and warmth of his playing profoundly reshaped acoustic guitar technique in America.
