Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his groundbreaking flatpicking technique, Doc Watson tackles a broader range of contemporary and country material than on his previous, strictly traditional recordings. The acoustic arrangements are clean and unadorned, allowing his warm baritone and virtuosic guitar runs to anchor the Appalachian folk center.
