Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during the folk revival after decades of musical inactivity, Dock Boggs performs traditional Appalachian folk songs and murder ballads. The sparse recording highlights his unique, three-finger banjo picking style that underpins a stark, raspy vocal delivery.
