Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from the Scottish quartet is an exhilarating collision of angular post-punk guitar work, free-jazz trumpet outbursts, and fiercely political lyricism. Marion Coutts' dynamic vocal performances and the rhythm section's relentless, almost danceable polyrhythms culminate in a vibrant, defiant swansong for the fiercely independent ensemble.
