Drawing heavy inspiration from the eccentricities of Mike Patton and Frank Zappa, the Baltimore collective stitches together violently heavy riffs with circus music, jazz, and ska. The wildly unpredictable song structures are anchored by Todd Smith's theatrical, schizophrenic vocal delivery and deeply cynical, macabre lyricism. It cemented their status as one of the most creatively unhinged bands in the early 2000s metal underground.
