Album Notes & Community Reviews

The pioneering French singer-songwriter constructs a sparse, highly poetic eighth studio album characterized by its minimalist use of electronic drum machines and synthesizers. Bypassing traditional band arrangements, the stark instrumentation leaves ample space for his expressive, melancholic vocal delivery and literary lyricism. The record highlights his continued evolution as a central figure in the modern revitalization of French chanson.
