Album Notes & Community Reviews

The ninth studio album from the highly influential French singer-songwriter features a lush, dramatically expanded sonic palette. Backed by a classical wind quintet alongside his traditional rock instrumentation, the arrangements are soaring, cinematic, and profoundly elegant. His unmistakable baritone voice delivers deeply poetic, increasingly optimistic lyricism, solidifying his status as a vital modernizer of the traditional chanson format.
