Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured in Paris, 'Togetherness' captures cornetist Don Cherry leading an international quintet featuring Gato Barbieri on saxophone. The continuous suite structure highlights Cherry's distinctive approach to modal forms, distancing his phrasing from the dense harmolodics of his prior work with Ornette Coleman.
