Album Notes & Community Reviews

The rising Brazilian songwriter delivers an exceptionally soft, beautifully lush interpretation of classic MPB infused with the pristine gloss of 70s sophisti-pop. Backed by delicate chamber pop orchestrations and subtle yacht rock grooves, her highly sentimental vocal performances navigate profound romantic longing and deep melancholia. 'Pique' is a remarkably mellow, structurally sophisticated highlight of the contemporary Rio de Janeiro scene.
