Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning away from her typically sunny, upbeat film repertoire, the celebrated vocalist delivers an unexpectedly moody and intensely romantic collection of late-night ballads. Paul Weston's lush, string-heavy orchestrations beautifully complement her impeccable pitch and surprisingly emotive, nuanced phrasing. The sophisticated project proved she was fully capable of profound, deeply serious musical interpretations outside of her Hollywood persona.
