Album Notes & Community Reviews

An enchanting, fiercely independent release by an avant-garde folk musician specializing in historical stringed instruments like the hammered dulcimer and the hurdy-gurdy. The deeply acoustic tracks blur the lines between traditional Appalachian music and haunting neo-medieval folklore. This highly idiosyncratic collection eventually became a foundational touchstone for the psych-folk revival of later decades.
