Album Notes & Community Reviews
Drifting further from their crust-punk origins, the German outfit's fourth full-length is a deeply melancholic plunge into atmospheric extreme metal. 'Atrophy' pairs blast-beat-driven post-black metal ferocity with sweeping, emotionally agonizing post-rock crescendos and dual-vocal screaming.
