Suffocating in the Swarm of Cranes

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making their debut on Metal Blade Records, the German collective significantly refined their sprawling, blackened crust-punk origins. The compositions expertly navigate between sweeping, post-rock-infused instrumental builds and blistering, blast-beat-driven despair. The conceptual narrative heavily deals with themes of societal collapse and deep clinical depression, resulting in an incredibly intense and emotionally exhausting extreme metal record.
