Effector

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originating as an industrial side-project for Skinny Puppy's cEvin Key and Phil Western, the Vancouver duo pushes heavily into complex, purely electronic territory. 'Effector' largely abandons their early abrasive noise in favor of intricate, stuttering IDM drum programming and lush ambient techno synthesizers. The album represents a highly sophisticated, abstract peak in their continuous sonic evolution.
