Album Notes & Community Reviews
Dr. John, the New Orleans pianist born Mac Rebennack, made 'Creole Moon' a tribute to his city's musical language, its funk and R&B frameworks carrying his gravel-voiced incantations. The record is a late statement from American music's great gris-gris man.
