Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drake's debut mixtape, self-released while he was still primarily known for his acting role on 'Degrassi: The Next Generation'. Hosted by DJ Smallz, the project is a sprawling 22-track effort showcasing a young artist still finding his voice, heavily influenced by the boom-bap and soulful sample-based production popular in the mid-2000s. It features early collaborations with artists like Clipse and Slum Village, laying the groundwork for his eventual rise to stardom.
