Album Notes & Community Reviews

The estate of Drakeo the Ruler assembled 'Keep the Truth Alive' from his unreleased recordings as his first posthumous album, nine months after he was fatally stabbed backstage at a Los Angeles festival. Across eighteen tracks the only guest is his brother Ralfy the Plug, who appears twice. The FADER noted the collection's unfinished feeling while praising lyrics that shift between humor, paranoia and detailed accounts of street luxury.
