Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their third album 'Awake', Dream Theater adopted a significantly heavier and more dark-toned approach to progressive metal. The album features incredibly technical musicianship and complex uncommon time signatures alongside deeply introspective and philosophical lyrical themes.
