Album Notes & Community Reviews
The final album to feature founding drummer Mike Portnoy, this release sees Dream Theater leaning into their darker, heavier side. It features epic-length tracks, gothic atmospheres, and virtuosic soloing. While formulaic for the band, it executes their signature style with precision.
