Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Images and Words' single-handedly defined modern progressive metal by merging 70s prog-rock complexity with heavy, razor-sharp metallic precision. The band showcases virtuosic, highly technical musicianship and complex uncommon time signatures beneath James LaBrie's soaring, deeply passionate melodic vocals.
